Very useful.

How to set a track’s start point or loop lengths on the fly
This is a very useful tool when DJing in Ableton. Say you want to change a clip’s start point on the fly in Ableton. All you need to do is select a clip and asign a key or midi note to the “Set” button for the “Start” section of the sample window. Similarly, you can assign the “Set” buttons for the start position and length (the loop end) under the “Loop” section to set those on the fly.
Once you have your track playing, you can tap the assigned keys to change where the clip will start from when you push play so you’ll have the perfect cue every time. Additionally, you can enable looping and set the length of it on the fly.Very handy!
